Representing the 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 side, the team addressed the proposition:

𝐇𝐮𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 – 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 secured the 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫-𝐔𝐩 position in the 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 following the Grand Finals.

“Let it be resolved that cyber operations causing significant loss of functionality of hospitals during armed conflict should be treated as attacks under International Humanitarian Law.”

The final round examined the 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐬 during armed conflict and the application of 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐰 to cyber operations that significantly affect their functionality.

Hua Siong College of Iloilo – Main delivered a 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, demonstrating preparation, confidence, and engagement with the legal and humanitarian considerations raised by the proposition.
