The Art to Platter Project, with its goal of giving assistance to the hardest-hit communities through arts and crafts, helped a total of 127 families. Bags containing essential food items were distributed to residents of Brgy. Cubay, Jaro, Iloilo City last September 30, 2021.

The Office of Planning, Development, and Student Services together with the Phoenix Graders Hua Siong Grade School, Supreme Pupil Government and the Little Phoenix Hua Siong Preschool PTA for School Year 2021-2022, aim to cultivate in the minds of the learners that their help in sharing books and educational supplies can go a long way. That is why the Project HOPE was made possible.

All learners, alumni, teachers, parents, and everyone in the Hua Siong community were encouraged to take part in this initiative by donating books. All the books collected were given to the community where Hua Siong College of Iloilo is situated such as the Brgy. Ed Ganzon and Brgy. Cubay.

The beneficiaries extended their thanks to the whole Hua Siong community for sharing joy and hope amidst pandemic.

In Hua Siong, we believe that the joy of giving is the greatest joy of life. To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors.

Last December, we upheld the Christmas spirit of giving as the Move to the Beat of Life: Fundraising Activity successfully donated food, vitamins, hygiene kits, and medicines to the senior citizens from our partner barangay, Barangay Ed Ganzon.

This was made possible through the partnership of Phoenix Graders Hua Siong Grade School – Main Campus with the Parent-Teacher Association and the Supreme Pupil Government for S.Y. 2021-2022.

We ended the year 2021 with a grateful and happy heart. Let us all lead a purposeful life and be a blessing to others.

Little Phoenix PTA Officers for S.Y. 2021-2022, together with our little Phoenixes launched our first-ever Christmas Toy Drive. Our learners donated toys and gave 80 boys and 120 girls from Brgy. Cubay, Jaro, Iloilo City a very merry Christmas!

Our Christmas Toy Drive was conducted last December 15, 2021. This Christmas season inspired our little ones to feel and experience the joy of giving.

The Phoenix Graders Department and the Supreme Pupil Government, in cooperation with the Parent-Teacher Association, distributed gift packs that consist of meals, vitamins, and hygiene kits to HSCI Ledesco maintenance staff, tricycle drivers, and security guards of Ledesco Village, 150 Senior Citizens of Cubay, Jaro and 100 beneficiaries from Don Bosco Boys Town, Dumanggas.

This will not be possible without the people who helped and supported our project “Making the Edible Incredible: A Baking for a Cause.”

This an on-going project – The Junior High School and the Planning, Development, and Student Services Department conceptualized a fund-raising project called Project J.H.S. to extend help to the surrounding communities where Hua Siong College of Iloilo is located.

This project aims to encourage all learners, alumni, teachers, and everyone in the Hua Siong community to take part in this initiative by buying the tote bags and t-shirts made by the Grades 9 and 10 learners and to save using the piggy banks made by the Grades 7 and 8 learners.

The profit coming from these projects will be used for a donation drive. We are asking everyone to take part in this project so we can be of help to others.
