i. Admission Guidelines for School Year 2027–2028

Hua Siong College of Iloilo is now accepting applications for School Year 2027–2028.

Admission will be evaluated based on the applicant’s academic performance, conduct record, admission test results, and interview.

Following the initial review of submitted requirements, the school may request additional documents if necessary. Parents/Guardians will be notified via email regarding follow-up or updates on the application process.

Admission Details:

- - Mode of Testing & Interview: Face-to-face with the Guidance Associate and Assistant Principal at the assigned campus
  - Admission Processing Fee: Php 500.00 (all grade levels)
  - Schedule of Admission Tests: Every 2nd & 4th Saturday of the Month starting October to March 6, 2027
    - October 17 2026
    - November 14 & 28 2026
    - December 12, 2026
    - January 9 & 30, 2027
    - February 13 & 27, 2027
    - March 13, 2027
    - March 15 and onwards (daily from Monday to Friday)
  - Time Slots: 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM (October 17, 2026 to March 13, 2027) and 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM from March 15, 2026 to June 2027

A. LITTLE PHOENIX HUA SIONG PRESCHOOL

a. Eligibility (by December 31 of the school year):

i. Toddler: 1 year and 5 months – 1 year and 11 months old

ii. Pre-Nursery: 2 years – 2 years and 11 months old

iii. Nursery: 3 years – 3 years and 11 months old

iv. Kindergarten 1: 4 years old

v. Kindergarten 2: 5 years old

b. Exception:

i. Learners who turn 5 years old between November 1 and December 31 may be admitted to Kindergarten 2 if they:

1. Have completed one year in a DepEd-recognized ECCD program (with Certificate of Completion/Attendance); and
2. Undergo the ECD Checklist assessment during enrollment or within the first week of classes.

c. Documentary Requirements:

i. 2 pcs of recent 2×2 passport-sized photo with white background

ii. Photocopy of PSA-authenticated Birth Certificate

iii. ECCD Checklist (for Kindergarten 2 applicants only)

iv. Certificate of Completion/Attendance from a recognized ECCD program (for Kindergarten 2 applicants under exception)

v. Latest report card, if available (for Kindergarten 2 applicants only)

vi. Official receipt for the Admission Processing Fee (for Kindergarten 2 applicants only)

B. PHOENIX GRADERS DEPARTMENT

a. Grade 1

i. Must be 6 years old on or before December 31 of the school year.

ii. Must have completed Kindergarten in a DepEd-recognized school.

iii. Must have a Learner Reference Number (LRN).

b. Grades 2–6

i. Completion of the prescribed academic curriculum of the previous grade level.

ii. Satisfactory character rating.

c. Documentary Requirements

i. 2 pcs of recent 2×2 passport-sized photo with white background

ii. Photocopy of PSA-authenticated Birth Certificate

iii. ECCD Checklist (for Kindergarten 2 applicants only)

iv. Kindergarten Report Card (for Grade 1 applicants only)

v. Report Card of the previous and current school year (for Grades 2–6 applicants only)

C. JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL DEPARTMENT

a. Eligibility

i. Completion of the prescribed academic curriculum of the previous grade level

ii. Photocopy of PSA-authenticated Birth Certificate

iv. ESC Certificate (for Grades 8–10 applicants availing the FAPE program from the previous school)

D. SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL DEPARTMENT

a. Eligibility

i. Completion of the prescribed academic curriculum of the previous grade level

ii. Satisfactory character rating

b. Documentary Requirements

i. 2 pcs of recent 2×2 passport-sized photo in white background

ii. Photocopy of PSA-authenticated Birth Certificate

iii. Report Card of the Previous and Current School Year

iv. ESC Certificate (for applicants availing FAPE/SHS Voucher Program from previous school)

v. Certificate of Good Moral Character

vi. Certificate of Honorable Dismissal (for transferees)

E. FOREIGN

a. Eligibility

i. Must comply with visa and study permit requirements as prescribed by DepEd Memo No. 2, s. 2010.

b. Documentary Requirements

i. 2 pcs of recent 2×2 passport-sized photo in white background

ii. Photocopy of PSA-authenticated Birth Certificate

iii. Valid Passport

iv. Special Study Permit (SSP) or Special Resident Retiree Visa (SRRV)

v. Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) or I-Card

vi. Authenticated scholastic records with English translation (from the Philippine Embassy)

vii. Full, non-refundable tuition and fee payment upon enrollment

F. HOMESCHOOL PROGRAM (Alternative Delivery Mode)

a. Eligible learners include, but are not limited to, the following:

Learners at risk of dropping out;
Learners with special educational needs;
Learners unable to report to school regularly due to medical conditions;
Learners in emergencies, national emergencies, or conflict areas;
Learners who experienced circumstances in regular schools that negatively affect their health and well-being;
Learners who dropped out for personal reasons;
Learners whose parents/guardians have occupations requiring frequent travel, and
Learners whose studies are disrupted due to the relocation of parents/guardians, either within the Philippines or overseas (e.g., children of Overseas Filipino Workers).
In addition, Kindergarten learners may be admitted to the Homeschooling Program provided they meet the age qualification of five (5) years old in accordance with DepEd Order No. 47, s. 2016 (The Omnibus Policy on Kindergarten Education), as amended by DepEd Order No. 20, s. 2018.

- Fill out the Admission Application Form.
- Submit a clear scanned copy of the required documents.
