Two Junior High School Red Phoenixes achieved remarkable success in the International Spell Bee Competition! Ryssa Jhane Panes of Grade 8 Molave secured the prestigious International Achievers Trophy as the 1st Position Winner. In contrast, Wyly Zareb Pamorca of Grade 8 Lauan earned 3rd Position Winner in their grade level globally.
The competition featured a challenging Spelling Test comprised of Multiple Choice and Audio-Based Questions. Out of a total of 80 marks, Panes achieved an impressive score of 74 (93%), and Pamorca scored 72 (90%). The test assessed learners’ practical knowledge of the English language, encouraging them to think beyond memorization by exploring word origins, meanings, and usage.
Organized by the International Spell Bee Foundation, this global competition fosters a love for the English language among learners worldwide.
