Ang Hua Siong College of Iloilo ay nakikibahagi sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa na may temang, “Filipino: Wikang Mapagpalaya”
Idinaos ang palatuntunang ito noong ika-15 ng Agosto. Nagpamalas ang mga mag-aaral ng Junior High School Department ng kanilang natatanging talento sa pagsayaw sa patimpalak na “Sayaw Noon, sa Saliw Ngayon” kung saan masasaksihan ang iba’t ibang interpretasyon ng mga katutubong sayaw, sa saliw ng modernong himig.
Sa espesyal na okasyong ito, ating ipinagbunyi ang kasaganaan at kagandahan ng ating sariling wika – ang wikang Filipino.
