The 12-Under squad ignited the run with a dominant 78-40 victory over UST Angelicum Iloilo, followed by the 15-Under team’s commanding 80-69 win against the University of San Agustin. Completing the sweep, the 17-Under Red Phoenixes sealed the crown with a hard-fought 68-58 triumph over NXT Ajuy.

He is also a distinguished member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society and received the Outstanding Leadership in the Math, Physics, and Computer Science Department award.

The Red Phoenixes of Hua Siong College of Iloilo achieved a remarkable victory after securing the 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐀) 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬, surpassing eight outstanding teams from different regions nationwide. The competition was held at STI West Negros University on May 12, 2026.
Representing Region VI – Western Visayas, the HSCI team proudly earned the title of National Champions, with Region IV-A placing second and Region IV-B finishing third.
